Asia Pacific Association of Cardiology and Critical Care (APACCC) is a locally owned, not-for-profit integrated health network of Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons and Intensivists. In 2018, the APSC represented 22 cardiology societies in the Asia-Pacific region namely:The Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, Bangladesh Cardiac Society,Cardiac Society,Brunei Darussalam,Cambodian Heart Association,Emirates Cardiac Society,Hong Kong College of Cardiology,Cardiological Society of India,Indonesian Heart Association,Iranian Heart Association,The Japanese Circulation Society,The Korean Society of Cardiology,National Heart Association of Malaysia,Mongolian Society of Cardiologists,Myanmar Cardiac Society, Cardiac Society of Nepal, Pakistan Cardiac Society, Philippine Heart Association, Singapore Cardiac Society, Sri Lanka Heart Association, Taiwan Society of Cardiology, The Heart Association of Thailand and Vietnam National Heart Association.The current President is Dr Wael Almahmeed from United Arab Emirates (UAE) and President-Elect is Dr Jack Tan from Singapore who takes over from 2019 to 2021. The Organizing Committee is chaired by Dr. Takashi Akasaka.

Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (APSIC) Dear Colleagues, Today I take over from Dr Huay Cheem, the Presidentship of our August body THE ASIA PACIFIC SOCIETY OF INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY, a Society close to my heart as I was one of the Founder Trustees of this Society, which we conceptualised and started 26 years ago as a group of 10 interventional cardiologists of the AP region.

The multi day event on pediatric cardiology gathering will have 60+ Scientific and specific sessions and sub-sessions on cutting edge examination and latest investigation advancements in the field of cardiology and heart medical procedures over the globe. Current projects include research to describe the current status of cardiovascular health in various Asia-Pacific countries, for example, myocardial infarction patients.
